Frosh,F, Jessica Kuster is the runaway for C-USA Freshman of the Year. Could she be the beginning of a renaissance of Rice Owl basketball. They are tied for second in C-USA (UCF-a home loss, Memphis-a road win). Get out and see the future. Next home game, Thur against UTEP. Then the road game that will tell how much in game adjustment she is making, Sun, to Southern Miss. Southern Miss Frosh, Jameirra Faulkner, is who Kuster will be judge against. After Kusters dbl-dbl against UH, this will be an interesting match-up. Three more wins and this squad could see post season play. With 5 games left in conference play. UH could clinch the top spot with 2 wins this week. Seeing as they lead by the next three teams by 4 games. Says a lot about upper upperclassmen leadership.
