Run rule (15-3), catch the Huskies in Great West Conference weekend opener at home against UTPA.

"Everybody get a hit," that's what the Bronco fans were chanting in the stands. And apparently that was the objective today. 2 Runs in the first, a run in the third, 8 in the fifth, 4 in the sixth, and 1 more to insure in the top of the seventh. 16 runs, 21 hits, 10 left on base, and 1 error. Baseball goes that way sometimes, whether at home or on the road. UTPA Bronco baseball coach Manny Mantrana talks about his teams performance in his post game. HBU, even though they started the week end tied for second with Northern Colorado in conference play at 8-4. that could change by Sunday. Husky baseball coach Jared Moon mentions that his guys forget about today and look to get 3 out of 4 to finish the weekend.
The teams return to the Husky Field tomorrow for a double header. 12 and 2, to finish up the series.
