HBU Women's Volleyball is now 4-0 for the season, Prairie View falls in 3 sets.

Tonight's 3 set, match win by the Huskies over PV seems to have been a carry over from this past weekends Lamar University Tournament win. Prairie View seemed to want to make a match of it during the  third set. But, to no avail, HBU made quick hast after a timely called timeout. PV Head Women's Volleyball Coach Alicia Pete talks about the Lady panthers effort in tonight's match. HBU Head Women's Coach talks about the success of the Huskies so far this season.

Game Week 1 UH Cougars Football Luncheon

As was once told to me in a frank matter of fact type of way, "We may not be the top dog in the state. But, we will project our self's as such." They have and they will.
And with that, this years UH Cougars are definitely projecting themselves as such. This mornings weekly presser had an added adventure, media teleconference calls. Which to say the least was an adventure. Congrats to the SID staff for pulling it off well. Today's presser featured Sr, RB, Bryce Beall; Sr, DL, David Hunter; Jr, DL, Kelvin King and Sr, QB, Case Keenum.

#6 Stanford comes calling for a Match and takes homes the Trophy.

It was reported earlier in the week that highly ranked Stanford(#6) had called around the area seeking a volleyball match. Having won the recruiting battle for two local kids. Jr, Jessica Walker(BTW Washington) and Soph, Mary Ellen Luck(Stratford). They talk about the uniqueness of Stanford and why they made the move across country.
Stanford swept their matches against Delaware(3-0) on Saturday then dispatched Rice (3-0) on today. It was not a good weekend for the Lady Owls. Losing in a 5 set match on Friday to Delaware (2-3). Rice is now 0-2 for the season.
