2013 GREAT WEST CONFERENCE BASEBALL CHAMPIONS-HBU Huskies

HBU Huskies win the Great West 2013 Baseball Championship. 

   They roll over Northern Colorado 13-3. Winning P for HBU was Mathew McCollough (6in, 3er, 4k). Losing pitcher (NC) Chris Hammer (2/3 in, 7er). Hammer faced 10 batters. While HBU's McCollough faced 25.

Great win by Coach Jared Moon and his HBU Huskies.

Work out Day for C-USA Baseball Teams

   Today begins a very busy week for all involved. This is the last go round for this make up of Conference USA baseball teams. As they all make their way to Houston for the 2013 C-USA Baseball Championship, hosted by Rice University, at Reckling Park. It is also the last C-USA team championship event of this 2012-13 athletic season. 

   This make of Conference USA teams has existed for (8)years. And while we are all waiting for the outcome of this 2013 Champion. The one constant in baseball championships has been the Rice Owls. They've either won or shared a C-USA Championship regular/tournament since arriving into the league 2005-06 season. After clinching 2013 regular season. And receiving #1 seed for this week's Conference USA baseball championship. Only Houston(2008), Southern Miss(2010), and UAB(2012) have won tournament championships. With finals over and done with, will one of the teams leaving, or one of the teams staying, emerge as the 2013 tournament champion.
