Da'Necia Trusty had a great weekend for Cy-Fair Premier National 17U-TX this past weekend at the, "1st Annual Battle in H-TOWN." The 6'2 Sophmore Forward from Alief Hastings, was a standout with her rebounding and defensive effort. Trusty averaged 7pts, 9rebs, and 2blks in 4 games at the "1st Annual Battle for H-TOWN."
The "1st Annual Battle for H-TOWN", was held at George R. Brown Convention Center, downtown Houston, TX. Presented by ASGR BASKETBALL, Cy-Fair Nike Elite & Cy-Fair Premier. With over 100 teams from around the country, Philly Belles, Oklahoma Swarm, Colorado Hawks, 602 Elite Lady Nation Singleton, AZ Supreme ASGR, were some of the teams from outside Texas, that drew a coaching and fan crowd.
Trusty helped Cy-Fair Premier to the Championship game against Cy-Fair Elite EYBL Hinson. The game went back and forth from the beginning until the end. It kept the crowd involved. Cy-Fair Elite Hinson 56-53. The Sophmore standout who is also known as, "Big Baby," is stepping her game up. This past weekends tournament, made quite an impression on her.
