Houston, We have College Sports

Today was a good day. College sports, games rather, began today in the Houston area on the campus of Rice University. At the Soccer, Track and Field Stadium. After going through the first 21 min of play, of missed opportunities by both teams. Rice scored 1 goal in the first half and 2 in the second. Hear Rice Owl Head Coach Adams, HBU Husky Head Womens Soccer Coach Misty Jones, and Rice Owl Jr, Alex Burton talk about tonight's exhibition.

Both teams are on the road for their next game. Rice heads to Lubbock for a game against Texas Tech. While HBU heads to Prairie View for another exhibition contest with the Panthers. It truly was a good day.

The Heritage Walk, at HBU has new meaning these days.

It's been a while, foot traffic on The Heritage Walk will not be leading to a screened off area. Looks like the Student Center will be open for the 2011 fall semester.

Today was photo and media day for the Great West Conference Women's Soccer Champions, the HBU Huskies. With the season about to start on Friday,7PM, an exhibition game up the street against Rice Owls. This morning I talked to HBU Head Women's Soccer Coach Misty Jones about the program.
