On a bright and windy day UH makes UCLA have a bad trip, a 38-34 loss.

When Coach Sumlin mentioned at the football luncheon that UCLA would probably be the largest collective they would play this season. There was definitely no doubt, in anybody's mind they were not huge. The UCLA Bruin WR's were snagging passing all day long. Which contributed to UCLA being able to stay stride for stride with UH, scoring wise. The Defense gave, bended, then made a stand when they needed to late in 4th quarter that gave the ball back to the offense to finish the game. A 38-34 UH Cougar win to start the season and give the home opening crowd something to talk about.
But the pride of the day belonged to RS-Sr, QB, Case Keenum. Below he talks about his exhilarating game experience.

Game Week 1 UH Cougars Football Luncheon

As was once told to me in a frank matter of fact type of way, "We may not be the top dog in the state. But, we will project our self's as such." They have and they will.
And with that, this years UH Cougars are definitely projecting themselves as such. This mornings weekly presser had an added adventure, media teleconference calls. Which to say the least was an adventure. Congrats to the SID staff for pulling it off well. Today's presser featured Sr, RB, Bryce Beall; Sr, DL, David Hunter; Jr, DL, Kelvin King and Sr, QB, Case Keenum.

HBU Volleyball, give a listen to Head Coach Kaddie Platt.

It's been proven that the best time to catch a college coach. Is when they have camps going during the off season. And that's because their schedule is less hectic. Today I caught up with HBU Husky Head Women's Volleyball Coach Kaddie Platt.  She gave a good account of the volleyball program, The Great West Conference and HBU being the place to be.
